✈️ Flight Attendant Self-Care, Savings, & Success + Find Your Next Read | Crew Briefing

Hello Reader,

I officially have another high school graduate in the family. One of the coolest things about their school is that the mascot is an airplane, which feels so fitting for our crew. I remember when I graduated from high school, the world felt like my oyster, and anything felt possible.

Whenever you feel discouraged during the interview process, try to reconnect with that feeling when you truly believed you could conquer the world. Anchor into that sense of possibility, because you can achieve anything you set your mind to at any stage of your life.

This Week’s Partner Offer

Before this week’s self-care tip, I wanted to share an amazing partner offer that could be especially helpful if you’re working on your finances before training or looking to eliminate interest payments so you can pay off your card balance faster.

Used responsibly, the right card can help with cash back, balance transfers, and create a little more breathing room during your career transition.

*Some links may be affiliate or partner links, which means I may earn a commission if you choose to purchase, at no extra cost to you.

Rare Unlimited Cash Back Match Turns Heads

If you have outstanding credit card debt, getting a new 0% intro APR credit card could help ease the pressure while you pay down your balances. On top of all that, this card offers an insane 5% cash back perk that gets matched after your first year.

Check out this week's offer HERE.

💡 Tip of the Week: Automate Your Financial Self-Care

It’s always a good time to save, but it’s especially important before heading off to flight attendant training. During your first year, you’ll be finding your footing, and having a financial cushion can make all the difference.

While you may not use a credit card for every purchase, there are times such as going on vacation or making the most of a long layover in a great destination when only a credit card will do, especially if you need to rent a car.

Consider opening a separate savings account just for your credit card cash back rewards. If you pay your card off in full each month, you can avoid interest and watch your cash back grow automatically, without the temptation to spend it.

Over time, this simple habit has amazed me. I’ve built a real cushion of savings just from cash back. The only regret I have is not starting sooner.

🛍️ Amazon Storefront

I’ve added a few women’s pantsuits to the women’s interview attire section of the storefront. For Delta, a pant suit is recommended, but if you choose to wear a dress or skirt, make sure the length is below your knee. That’s a good rule of thumb for any interview.

There are options for men as well, so everyone can find the perfect interview outfit.

Ready to upgrade your interview look?

Visit the storefront now to explore the latest options for both men and women!

Amazon Pick of the Week - Audible Audiobooks

For a limited time, you can try Audible free for three months, perfect for finding your next summer read, long commutes, travel days, or drowning out your crew members who talk on 5 am van rides.

Explore new genres, and cancel anytime if it’s not for you. Don’t miss out on this chance to discover your next favorite audiobook.

🎙️Final Boarding Announcement

As you get ready to take off into a new week, remember to take care of yourself and set your intentions high.

Wishing you blue skies and smooth interviews. f you know anyone who can benefit from this information, you can share it by forwarding this email.

Hello Reader, Somehow, it’s already the end of May, and time flies faster than an island hopper flight! My middle child, my son, is graduating next week, and I’m still wondering how he grew up right under my nose. When my youngest two were little, they were seasoned travelers, happily flying back and forth between Hawaii and Newark to visit family. Those cross-country trips became our little adventures. My kids behaved so well that people would ask if I’d slipped them Benadryl—which, for the...
