Hello Reader, I blinked, and it’s April. I know, I say that all the time, but it’s true! Easter is this weekend, and for a lot of flight attendants, that means holiday pay. One of my favorite things about being a flight attendant was watching my paycheck climb and maximizing it as much as possible. It felt like the most fun video game, and you get money as a prize. What’s not to love? But when you’re picking up those extra trips, just remember, what looks good on paper doesn’t always feel great on the body. So don’t forget about your self-care! Always prioritize rest over money. I look back now and see that even though I felt invincible, I’m not. Remember that when you’re flying. Prioritize you. Let’s get into it! 🛫 Who’s Hiring Flight AttendantsA few regionals opened this week. So be sure and check the job board. 🇺🇸 US Applicants 🇪🇺🇬🇧 Europe & UK Applicants Please browse the Cabin Crew Careers Page for new listings. 📌 Reminder: You must already be legally eligible to work in the country you’re applying to. Bookmark your page and check often so you never miss an application window. 💺 This Week at FFA - Flight Attendant Interview MasterclassAirlines open and close fast. One week there’s an application window, and the next week it’s gone. The candidates who land the job aren’t the ones who scramble when an opening drops — they’re the ones who were already ready. That’s the mindset behind the Flight Attendant Interview Masterclass, and it’s exactly why now is the right time to prepare, before the next window opens, not after. Here’s something that often gets overlooked: your resume is part of the interview process. The Interview Masterclass includes a professionally structured Flight Attendant Resume Template that is designed the way airlines actually review resumes. The right keywords, the right format, the right first impression — before you ever walk through the door. And once you get that interview? You’ll be ready for that too. Here’s what’s inside the Interview Masterclass:📄 Flight Attendant Resume Template: Keyword-optimized and professionally structured so your application gets noticed. Whether you’re a first-time applicant, a career changer, or someone refining your approach after a previous attempt, this program meets you where you are. Don’t wait for an airline to open to start preparing. The best time to get ready is right now.
💡 Tip of the Week: You Only Need ONE Interview OutfitOkay, listen — I need you to hear this because I see so many people overthinking it. You do not need a different outfit for every round of the interview process. Not for the video screen, not for the in-person, not for the group assessment. One outfit. That’s it. Find something that is polished, professional, and compliant with airline guidelines, and you wear that same outfit every single time. Every. Single. Time. It becomes your interview uniform, and honestly? There’s something powerful about that. You put it on and your brain knows it’s go time. As long as your outfit is compliant, you are good to go. Stop stressing about it and put that energy into your actual preparation — that’s where it counts. And here’s a bonus tip just for you: When you’re choosing your shoes, buy a pair that is interview-compliant AND flight attendant compliant. That way, you can wear them on the line once you get the job. Now you’ve got interview shoes AND work shoes in one. That’s how you get the most bang for your buck, and I am always here for a smart investment. 💸 🛍️ Pick of the Week: Interview AttireSince we’re talking interview outfits, let’s make it easy for you. I’ve put together curated lists on the Future Flight Attendant Amazon Storefront so you’re not spending hours scrolling and guessing. Everything is hand-picked with compliance in mind. 👗 Shop Women’s Interview Attire: HERE 👔 Shop Men’s Interview Attire: HERE 👠 Shop Women’s Shoes: HERE 👞 Shop Men’s Shoes: HERE Remember — shop for shoes that work for your interview AND on the line. One great pair that does both jobs is always the move. Final Boarding AnnouncementAnd that’s a wrap on this week’s Crew Briefing! Before you go, I want to leave you with this. The candidates who get the job aren’t always the most naturally talented ones. They’re the ones who showed up prepared. They did the work before the window opened, before the email landed in their inbox, before everyone else started scrambling. They were already ready. That can be you. It should be you. You don’t have to have it all figured out right now. You just have to take one step this week. Update that resume. Start the Interview Masterclass. Order that interview outfit. One thing. That’s how it starts. This career is worth preparing for, and you are worth showing up for it fully. I believe that, and I hope you do too. I’ll see you in the next one. Safe travels, and as always, the jumpseat is waiting for you. ✈️ If you know anyone who can benefit from this information, you can share it by forwarding this email. Wheels up! Hello Reader, If you’re reading this mid-flight, on a layover, or dreaming of the day you will be, welcome back. I’ve been deep in writing mode the last few weeks, racing to finish a book proposal before a June 5th deadline. Last fall, I gifted myself a spot in a prestigious writing program, and it’s a contest for the program participants. If you’ve been around here a while, you know storytelling is kind of my thing. This is book one of a trilogy, and there is a lot of flight attendant stuff...
Hello Reader, Welcome to this week’s Crew Briefing. This week is a reminder that you do not need perfect circumstances to take care of yourself. You just need a few simple habits and a couple of smart tools. Today we are talking about rest, naps, and being comfortable even when the operation is not. Summer is coming, and I don’t need a crystal ball to tell me there will be meltdowns. They seem to happen every single summer at different airlines. 🛫 Who’s Hiring Flight Attendants Allegiant...
Hello Reader, Welcome to week two of March. We have officially shifted into longer days, which always feels like a fresh start, even if you are still attached to winter like I am. March is what I call probation season. Did you know that during your first six months of flying, you are usually on probation? That is the window where you protect your record by staying reliable. Perfect attendance and on-time performance go a long way. Habits that make professionalism feel automatic. We are...
