Hello Reader, There is something wonderfully fitting about American Airlines opening applications for flight attendants just as Labor Day begins. While most of the country is sleeping or wrapping up a long holiday weekend, future flight attendants will be sitting at their computers applying for a career that could completely change the way they work, travel, and live. Delta Air Lines opened applications yesterday. American is expected to follow around 12:00 a.m. ET on Monday, September 7, which is midnight Sunday night. September is always a major month for flight attendant hiring, but having two of the highest-paying airlines open within days of each other makes this one feel especially significant. After spending nearly 19 years in aviation, I know that becoming a flight attendant is never simply about finding another job. This career changes your schedule, your holidays, your relationships, your view of the world, and very often, the way you see yourself. So, as Labor Day approaches, I have been thinking about one question: What would becoming a flight attendant truly change for you? Keep your answer close. It is the reason this opportunity deserves to be taken seriously. Let’s get into this week’s Crew Briefing. 📌 This week’s Crew Briefing contains important information for both Delta and American Airlines applicants. Star or save this email now so you can return to it as you apply. 🛫 Who’s Hiring Flight Attendants🔺 Delta Air Lines is hiring flight attendants now. There is no shortage of free flight attendant advice online. That is part of the problem. One person tells you a resume doesn’t matter. Another gives you an interview script to memorize. Someone else shares advice from a hiring process that may have changed years ago. By the time you sort through the conflicting information and determine what is actually credible, the application window may be closed or your assessment deadline may already be approaching. The free Future Flight Attendant Job Board tells you where and when to apply. The Flight Attendant Interview Masterclass teaches you how to prepare to get hired. Inside one complete, self-paced preparation system, you receive:
This is not a collection of random tips. It is a structured framework designed to help you understand what airlines evaluate, communicate your experience professionally, and move through every stage without relying on memorized scripts or guesswork. And it works. One Interview Masterclass student earned CJO offers from two of the Big Three U.S. airlines. Other students have used this preparation to walk into their interviews feeling calm, confident, and ready, and walk out with CJOs. Masterclass students now receive priority access to the Done-for-You Flight Attendant Resume Service. Once you enroll, you may email me about the Resume Service even when it is closed to the public. If you decide to upgrade, your entire $249 Masterclass purchase price will be applied toward the Resume Service. You are not paying twice. You are beginning your preparation immediately and preserving the option to receive individualized resume support later. The Flight Attendant Interview Masterclass is $249, with payment plans starting at $23. If you are serious about earning your wings, this is the bare minimum preparation I recommend. Delta is open. American is next. Stop collecting scattered advice and start preparing for the career you say you want. ➡️ Enroll in the Flight Attendant Interview Masterclass 💡 Tip of the Week - Do Not Compare Your Hiring Timeline to Someone Else’sAs Delta and American applications move forward, social media groups will quickly fill with candidates sharing their progress. Someone who applied after you may receive an assessment or interview invitation before you. That does not automatically tell you anything about your own application. Airline hiring processes do not always move in one straight line. Candidates may be reviewed at different speeds based on the position, qualifications, language needs, application volume, and other factors. Monitor your own email, spam folder, and candidate portal. Complete every request by the provided deadline, and rely on the airline's communication rather than another candidate’s timeline. Your job is not to keep pace with strangers. Your job is to stay prepared for your next step. 🛍️ Amazon Storefront & Pick of the Week*As an Amazon Associate, Future Flight Attendant earns from qualifying purchases. The Video Light I Personally Use Many airlines, including Delta, use self-recorded video interviews as part of the flight attendant interview process. You can prepare strong answers and choose the perfect interview outfit, but poor lighting can leave your face covered in shadows or make your video look dark and unpolished. Good lighting cannot replace good preparation, but it can ensure recruiters clearly see the professional presentation you worked so hard to create. This week, I am recommending the exact video light I personally use for my own videos. It has multiple light settings, but I prefer the warm-light setting because it gives my face a softer, more natural-looking glow and keeps shadows from appearing as harsh as they do under bright white light. The exact video light I use, shown on my preferred warm-light setting. ➡️ Shop the Video Light I Personally Use Your lighting is only one part of your complete interview presentation. Delta is hiring now. American opens in just a few days. For someone reading this email, Labor Day weekend could mark the beginning of an entirely different career and life. Every week, candidates ask me what they need to do to get hired. My answer is simple: prepare strategically before the airline asks you to perform. I created the Flight Attendant Interview Masterclass to show you how. If you want my complete advice, enroll in the program. That is where I teach it. Enroll. Do the work. Apply the techniques. Being a flight attendant changed the way I celebrate the holidays. When you don’t know whether you’ll be home on the holiday itself, you...

The leaves are getting ready to peak, and I'm out taking pictures every day. I’ve been getting emails from a lot of you saying you’re enjoying these personal pictures, and I’m thrilled. Most of...
