Hello Reader, Welcome Aboard! Between airline hiring alerts and Prime Big Deal Days, you’ve heard plenty from Future Flight Attendant this week. So today, I’m doing something different. I want to share a little about myself and why I care so much about your future. Because becoming a flight attendant isn’t just about getting a job. It’s about the possibilities for your life. The Career That Opened DoorsI’ve always been adventurous. At 19, I was living in Rome away from my family. I’d traveled extensively and lived in Hawaii before becoming a flight attendant. But aviation opened doors I never imagined. Suddenly, I had access to a multimillion-dollar lifestyle, even on my reserve paycheck. I wasn't making millions. Not even close! (Although I did eventually enjoy a six-figure career.) But the luxury hotels, international destinations, and extraordinary experiences? Priceless. Especially when I was relaxing in a Jacuzzi on a layover, still collecting per diem. Or hopping on a plane just because I was hungry for something I couldn't get where I was. I lived on a boat in San Francisco with my bestie. That was our crashpad. My family and I also lived full-time in a luxury RV for almost ten years. I’d head to the airport while my husband and kids traveled toward my next layover city. We’d meet up there! Even my fellow flight attendants were fascinated by the life we’d created. I’ve met extraordinary people, including Robin Williams, Rue McClanahan, the New York Yankees, and Dr. Ruth. I even told Dr. Ruth a hilarious personal story involving her. She laughed and told me "That was a first!" A FIRST? For Dr. Ruth?! But the greatest gift was the lifelong friendships I made. And eventually, this career opened another door: Future Flight Attendant, the business I love. I’m Patient, but Never PassiveI spent SIX YEARS on straight reserve at an international base. I’m patient, but I don’t sit around waiting for my dreams to come true. I set goals, take aligned action, and follow a system until I accomplish them. And I find ways to enjoy where I am along the way. That’s exactly how I want you approaching your future. Introducing the Flight Attendant Interview Success ProgramI’ve invested in plenty of programs myself. Have I finished them all? No. But give me accountability, weekly emails I actually want to read, and access to the person teaching? I’ll show up and do the work. That’s why the Flight Attendant Interview Masterclass is now the Flight Attendant Interview Success Program. Same comprehensive program. More coaching, more accountability, and more access to me. Before the Masterclass, I provided one-on-one and group coaching working with students closely for the entirety of the hiring process at all different airlines. I loved it, but that level of individual coaching wasn’t sustainable. Now, students can benefit from my coaching through weekly emails, questions inside the lessons, and the program community, without private one-on-one sessions. I’ve spent decades teaching and coaching. My greatest strength is breaking complicated processes into manageable steps. That’s what I’ve built: a system designed to help you get the job.
One CaveatBut here’s something I need you to understand. If you’re not willing to do the work, I don’t want you to enroll. I mean that. If you’re ready to bring your A-game, participate, and commit to your future, I’d love to work with you. I can’t guarantee an airline will hire you. Nobody can. But I can tell you that everyone who worked with me and did the work got the offer. I take your future seriously. I want you to do the same. Hiring Is a Marathon, Not a SprintHistorically, American Airlines and Delta have reported flight attendant candidate selection rates around 1–2%. This is a competitive career. Some people get hired immediately. Others take months or multiple attempts. Waiting for the next step? Don’t sit around waiting. Get into the program and do the work. At the right airline, six-figure earning potential can become part of your future as you build longevity and seniority. But the paycheck is only part of it. This career opens doors. I don’t want you to live my dream. I want you to have the opportunity to live YOURS.

Final Boarding AnnouncementMy career gave me the freedom to be more of who I already was. After almost two decades as a flight attendant, I have extraordinary memories, lifelong friendships, and a business I love. And I want you to discover what’s possible for your life. Set your goal. Believe in yourself. Do the work. Thank you for flying with Future Flight Attendant. Buh-bye! Crew Briefing Hello Reader, Halloween is well underway over here at FFA HQ. My cat Dex got his wings! Everyone else is getting their wings, and he wanted some too. I found him in a parking lot under a car screaming when he was only a few days old. Dexter loves wearing his wings and being spooky. With the pumpkins and decorations around him, he fits right in. Being a flight attendant changed the way I celebrate the holidays. When you don’t know whether you’ll be home on the holiday itself, you...
October 15, 2026 | Crew Briefing Hello Reader, The fall festivities are continuing over here, and this week I wanted to share another little behind-the-scenes glimpse. That little red building in the photo is the smokehouse. My dream is to get it set up again so we can use it as an "outdoor" kitchen. The leaves are getting ready to peak, and I'm out taking pictures every day. I’ve been getting emails from a lot of you saying you’re enjoying these personal pictures, and I’m thrilled. Most of...
Hello Reader, If you’ve been around here for any length of time, you may have noticed that the Future Flight Attendant website has undergone a huge refresh lately. There’s a reason for that. I decided to work with a business coach because FFA means so much to me, and I want to build it into the best resource it can be for aspiring, new, and even current flight attendants. I still do the work. A lot of it. But having an experienced professional look at my business from the outside has helped...
