✈️ The Secret Airline That Flies to Area 51 | Crew Briefing

Hello Reader,

I hope you’re having a great week so far.

We’re finally getting some much-needed rain here on the East Coast, but as you know, that often means flight disruptions and turbulence, so stay safe out there!

Who's Hiring Flight Attendants

This is your weekly reminder to check out who's hiring!

🇺🇸 US Applicants, please visit the Future Flight Attendant Job Board for current openings.

🇪🇺🇬🇧 Europe & UK Applicants, please browse the Cabin Crew Careers Page for listings.

📌 Please keep in mind that you must already be legally eligible to work in the country you’re applying to.

Ever heard of Janet Airlines?

It’s the not-so-secret airline that shuttles people from Las Vegas to destinations so classified they don’t even appear on the map, including the legendary Area 51. The catch? You’ll need top-secret clearance, a talent for discretion, and the ability to serve coffee while sitting on the biggest layover stories you’ll never be allowed to tell.

Fun fact: I love anything paranormal, from a safe distance. I don’t need it up close and personal, but it’s fun to think about. Truth is often stranger than fiction, and this job proves it.

We don't have this secret airline or flight attendant position posted on the Job Board, but you can apply HERE on the Amentum website. If you don't see the application posted, it means it's no longer available.

Tip of the Week - Hydration Hacks

Flying dehydrates you faster than you think. Low cabin humidity means your body loses fluids more quickly, which can lead to fatigue, headaches, and dry skin.

And with most airlines not allowing crew to take bottled water off the aircraft, you’ve got to get creative.

Here’s how to make hydration work for you:

  • Sip strategically: Aim for about 8 oz of water every hour you’re in the air.
  • Boost absorption: Add electrolyte packets or powders to your water during and after flying.
  • Infuse for flavor & extra hydration: Drop cucumber or watermelon slices into your bottle; they add a refreshing taste and a hydration bonus. Some hotels even offer cucumber water in the lobby.
  • Pre-hydrate before flights: Start your day with water so you’re not playing catch-up at altitude.

I’ve put my favorite crew-friendly water bottles and hydration boosters in the ➡️ Hydration Essentials section of the Amazon Storefront so you can stay ahead of dehydration, whether you’re in training, commuting, or on a layover.

Looking for interview Outfits or Flight Attendant Essentials? Check out the Future Flight Attendant Amazon Storefront ➡️ HERE.

That’s all for this week, join me next time as we dive into how hydration keeps your skin healthy and glowing.

If you know anyone who can benefit from this information, you can share it by forwarding this email.

Wheels up!

Hello Reader, I hope you're having a great week so far. It’s the first week of October, and I have to admit, I’ve been decorating for Halloween all week. I keep my tree out all year, and either decorate it or leave it plain, it saves me time and the effort of packing and unpacking. I’ve done enough packing and unpacking as a flight attendant! I like to look at pretty things that make me feel happy and magical. I might have gotten a little carried away, but fall is my favorite time of year. I...
