Hello Reader, After the Southwest alert glitch, I received hundreds of emails. Some were hard to read, but most were thoughtful, kind, and deeply encouraging. I have been reading every single one, and I want to say thank you. Your messages reminded me of something important. The flight attendant I was working with was in the forward galley with headphones on, the galley curtain closed, and watching a movie. He didn’t even know I was being attacked in the aisle. That moment changed everything for me. It showed me how devastating it can be when the wrong people are placed in this role. That experience never left me. It is one of the biggest reasons I created Future Flight Attendant. I never wanted another flight attendant to go through something hard and feel unsupported. I wanted to make sure the best candidates were seen, prepared, and backed by a real community. This week reminded me that what happened back then is exactly why I do what I do now. I do it for you. And you reminded me of something else, too. By reaching out when I needed help the most, you showed up as the kind of crew member I needed that day. The kind who leads with empathy, professionalism, and heart. I am so proud of you for that. Now, here is what you need to know: United is scheduled to open applications on MondayPlease consider this your formal heads-up. Airlines rarely announce the exact time their postings go live. I will be watching closely, but glitches can happen. You may or may not hear from me Monday morning. The best strategy is to refresh often and apply the moment you see it. You can click the link on the job board and refresh on the United Website on Monday.
If you want extra support in preparing for interviews, the Flight Attendant Interview Masterclass Bundle is always available. It includes everything I wish I had when I started my own journey. P.S. If you are gathering your gear or refreshing your look, my Amazon Storefront includes all my favorite flight attendant picks and interview-ready favorites. Thank you again for your support, your kindness, and your presence. I am so proud to walk this path with you. Hello Reader, Southwest Airlines opens flight attendant applications tomorrow! This is one of the most competitive flight attendant positions in the U.S., and the hiring window is typically short. Hello Reader, Happy Juneteenth! Juneteenth is a time to remember that, even though freedom was delayed, denied, or disguised in various ways, we are still here, still evolving, and still breaking through ceilings that were said to be unbreakable. It’s a moment to recognize that the sky isn’t the limit; it’s just the beginning. Your very presence in spaces where someone tried to keep you out is a form of freedom. If you're fighting to be seen because of your ethnicity, nationality, identity,...
Hello Reader, My kids are home for the summer, and the first thing they did was clean their rooms. I almost fainted. Full-on decluttering. It spoke directly to my love language: clearing space to make room for what’s next. And then this happened: one of the deer near our property was hit by a car. It was unfortunate. But then the vultures came. They cleared it. The deer wasn’t wasted. Nature took care of what was left, with purpose. It reminded me of something important: clearing, in every...
